TACTICAL COMBAT CASULTY CARE
TACTICAL COMBAT CASULTY CARE
The Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course teaches evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for delivering optimal trauma care on the battlefield. Conducted by NAEMT under its PHTLS program, which is a world leader in prehospital trauma education, the course uses the PHTLS Military textbook and adheres to the Department of Defense’s Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) guidelines. It is the only TCCC course endorsed by the American College of Surgeons.
The TCCC-MP (TCCC for Medical Personnel) course is aimed at combat EMS and military personnel, such as medics, corpsmen, and pararescue personnel, who deploy in support of combat operations. NAEMT also offers Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) courses for civilian tactical EMS.
The TCCC-AC (TCCC for All Combatants) course is intended for non-medical military personnel and teaches first responder skills suitable for soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines.
NAEMT’s TCCC courses are taught by a global network of highly trained, experienced instructors, with ongoing support provided to course sites, instructors, and students.
